FEDERAL COURT DOCUMENT FROM STEVE ROMBOM'S TERRORISM TRIAL by AJ Weberman
CONSENT ORDER IN ROMBOM LICENSE REVOCATION HEARING by AJ Weberman
The witness against Rombom who died was Robert Petro a minister from Latham, NY. He died at about age 71. Read all the charges in the complaint against Rombom and then try to figure out why he got off with a small fine? Does this make sense? Read the story HERE Rombom is allowed to use a storage room in a basement as an office? The possibility exists that money changed hands here as the Bronfman sisters are involved.

A private eye who faced the loss of his license to practice amid allegations ranging from intimidation to his company's tax delinquency has settled his case for a fine.Steven P. Rombom of Brooklyn admitted seven allegations concerning his business practices and said the violations have been corrected, according to a consent order signed Monday.
In a June complaint, the state had warned of severe penalties, including revoking or suspending Rombom's private investigator's license, for his alleged "lack of good moral character."While the agreement settles the complaint, it does not address a set of allegations related to his activities in the Capital Region. Those concerned charges that he allegedly threatened and intimidated witnesses in violation of the law in a legal proceeding related to the Colonie personal development business called NXIVM. Rombom and his company, Pallorium Inc., settled the complaint by agreeing to pay a fine of $6,500 to the New York Department of State, according to a consent order. Nothing in the agreement strips Rombom of his license.
The charges he and the company admitted to include advertising as an "investigative team" even though he was the sole state-licensed private eye at Pallorium, and for continuing to practice after the state had dissolved Pallorium for failing to file tax returns or pay taxes in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The failure to pay taxes was eventually resolved; the company is currently active, the settlement document said. Rombom and Pallorium's attorney, Fred Sosinsky, did not return calls; a spokesman for the Department of State had no further details.
There was Bronfman money involved here a payoff is a strong possibility. Rombom could have had someone close to one of the witnesses contact the witness and tell him/her the cult would pay the witness a large sum of money to recant. Another witness died under mysterious circumstances before he / she could testify. Remember the cult Rombom works for has been accused of the murder of an ex-member in Alaska.
Snyder was a 35-year-old career-minded environmental consultant in Alaska who spent $16,000 in three months on Executive Success Programs, self-help training regimens marketed by the group, from November 2002 to February 2003. Two of the sessions were 16-day "intensives," workshops that could stretch into 10- and 12-hour days. According to Alaska State Police investigators, on Feb. 6, 2003, it is believed that Snyder drove to a campground in Seward, Alaska, paddled a 16-foot kayak into the bay and intentionally capsized it into the glacier-fed water. Her body was never found, but a state health department jury declared her death a suicide. Police had discovered a spiral notebook in her truck. Click here to see how the Private Investigations community is rejoicing when it was believed it was finally rid of Steve Rombom. Rombom attended A. J. Weberman deposition on July 13. His face was covered in rashes and it looked like a pizza - pizza face. The NYT is interested in a story about how Rombom got off so easily in his license revocation hearings. Waiting for the documents about it to come through. Rombom told my attorney Mike Drobinaire that he saw Abbie at Kinky Friedman's ranch when Abbie was underground. Then he said he was on a TV show about tracking Abbie down. If his first statement was true he would have turned Abbie in and earned brownie points from the FBI for helping capture a high profile fugitive. He would not have directly taken credit for it.
Rombom subject to federal prosecution: Increasing the number of prosecutions for lying on background-check forms is an effort that the administration can undertake largely on its own, in part by pressing federal prosecutors to pursue such cases. It is also one measure that both sides of the gun-control debate have agreed upon. I have filed an FOIA request for Rombom's pistol carry permit applications.
Steve Rombom is currently employed by the NXIVM cult for the purpose of intimidating its ex-members. This cult is the brainchild of Keith Raniere, a ex-hippy new age executive reprogrammer and alleged pedophile. This is what Rombom was up to:
You can read the rest of this article by clicking HERERambam came to the door of Robert Petro, a 70-year-old minister, Petro wasn't too surprised. In fact, Petro recognized him. The summary of Robert Petro's affidavit: Rambam came to his door and showed him identification. Rambam was accompanied by a woman. He told Petro that he was not with NXIVM or Raniere, but rather that he worked for an attorney in California who he wouldn't identify. "He came off incredibly like an official kind of investigator," the affidavit reads. "He said I know everything about you - everything - with a certain look on his face and I said well that is good he felt very intimidating to me when he said that and I felt from the onset that things were inaccurate, intimidating, and he was fishing and had nothing substantial." Rambam leveled vague allegations against Petro and Bouchey, claiming that she had misappropriated $40 million and had breached the Bronfmans' confidentiality. At one point, Rambam threatened that he would have Petro arrested and drawn into a lawsuit if he didn't tell him what he wanted to know. The alleged second time Rambam came to Petro's door, he tried to get Petro to sign a document. Petro said that he refused. Melanie Button, who was Bouchey's assistant for 14 years, claimed in her affidavit that Rambam approached her at 9:10 in the evening as she was pulling into her parking lot. She was frightened by the man she recognized as a private investigator. She claimed that Rambam attempted to ask her questions about files that Bouchey had "transferred." She said that she didn't know what he was talking about and that she was "pissed" by his intrusion, and abruptly broke off the encounter and escaped into her house. "I then watched from my window until they pulled out of my driveway . . . I was upset and I thought to myself who does he think he is? Parking in a lot late at night trying to find out information about my boss. He came across being very authoritative and felt threatening." Button claimed that Rambam was seen in the lot a number of times throughout the next couple weeks. According to O'Hara's motion, Rambam threatened Button that he would "see her in court." According to O'Hara's motion, Kathleen Ethier claimed that Rambam "has been taking pictures of her house and car and hiding behind cars outside her home." In her affidavit, Angela Ucci claimed that she had had a number of encounters with Rambam. The first was at her salon where she works as a stylist. It was at 8 in the evening, and she refused to speak with him. The second time he came to her work, the doors were locked and she hid from him. Ucci also claimed that she was contacted by an associate who warned her that she might go to jail if she didn't cooperate.
With the money Rombom has made from intimidating ex-cult members (and doing break-ins: "Bouchey, an ex-cult member, described witnessing discussions of a break-in at the home of a former Raniere girlfriend and business partner, Toni Natalie, to get some of Raniere's things, as well as plans to have several members of the NXIVM group sue Natalie to try to keep her quiet about what she knows") he has hired the firm of Gusrae, Kaplan and Nusbaum 120 Wall Street 212-269-1400 to shut down this website. The attorneys who are handling the case there are Marlen Kruzhkov and Matthew B. Baum I have been deposed. They are wasting their time. I have good legal representation, in the person of Michael Drobinaire, who figures prominently in John Lennon's FBI file. As long as I show up for hearings there is nothing they can do to me as New York State was the first state to abolish debtors prison and Rombom is going to be in prison soon anyway! These momsers represent the big banks that were responsible for the real estate bubble bursting at the same time they try to squeeze the last nickel out of the victims of the banks who defaulted on their mortgage loans. What a racket! I wish I had a piece of it!
ALBANY — A private investigator has been charged by state officials with professional misconduct for allegedly threatening and intimidating witnesses in violation of the law in a NXIVM-related legal proceeding, according to a complaint from the Department of State.
As a result, Steven P. Rombom must appear before a state administrative law tribunal on Oct. 25. He faces the potential loss of his private investigator license. Rombom, 53, could not be reached for comment, but his lawyer called the charges "patently false." The Department of State's Division of Licensing Services alleges that Rombom, whose last known address was in Brooklyn, displayed a lack of "good moral character" for actions discovered by state investigators. "During the department's investigation it was confirmed that Mr. Rombom engaged in activity constituting witness intimidation, whereby he threatened four or more persons with such actions including but not limited to criminal arrest if they proceeded to testify in a high profile civil case in the Albany, N.Y., area involving a self-improvement organization (NXIVM, Inc.)," the document states. Investigators said they received complaints about Rombom's behavior from potential witnesses in a bankruptcy matter.
The investigation began after friends of Barbara Bouchey said they were approached by Rombom in 2010 and that he tried to intimidate them. Bouchey, of Saratoga County, is a former top member of NXIVM who left the group in 2009.
Rombom was used to serve subpoenas, according to a 2010 interview with the William Sabino, a lawyer with Damon & Morey. The firm was representing Clare and Sara Bronfman, leaders of Colonie-based NXIVM. Bouchey had been a financial adviser to the Bronfmans. Rombom's lawyer, Fred Sosinsky, said in an interview that the private investigator was retained for the assignment in the Albany area by a California lawyer — whom he would not identify — working for the Bronfman sisters "in an assortment of matters."
The Times Union reported in 2010 that Bouchey's friends said they had been served a subpoena by Rombom and that he used intimidation tactics. They said in affidavits at the time that they did not understand why they were subpoenaed for a case involving Joseph O'Hara, a former NXIVM business associate who has been involved in legal disputes with the company and with the Bronfmans. Sosinsky said whatever Rombom said to the people being subpoenaed was not intimidation or threatening. "Certainly people were interviewed and anything that was imparted to those people during the course of the interviews about what Mr. Rombom believed they were involved in were based on facts developed in the course of the investigation," Sosinsky said. He added that Rombom still lives in New York City. A state complaint against Rombom and his company, Pallorium Inc., alleges violations of law by his business practices. Nothing in the document suggests that the law firms or clients using Rombom directed his alleged actions, or engaged in any misconduct themselves. Among its allegations, the state said Pallorium advertised on the Internet that it maintained an investigative team, but state officials could find no such thing. The state also said that Rombom advertised and introduced himself under the assumed name of "Rambam" -— "further evidence of his untrustworthiness and/or incompetency," according to the state.
The department also says Rombom misinformed it by not divulging that his pistol permit had been revoked in New York City in July 2008 because he did not live or work in the city, and that the address he had given as his was false. He also had not provided timely notice of his arrest in 2006, the document states. The complaint does not detail that arrest, although other public records show Rombom was once accused of impersonating an FBI agent, a charge that was dropped by the federal government. State investigators say they had trouble locating his company and were denied permission to enter "the alleged business address." Certified letters sent to his given address were returned unclaimed. Investigators said Rombom's business dissolved in January 2011 after failure to file franchise tax returns and MTA surcharge reports, or to pay those taxes and surcharges. Even so, Rombom sought to renew his license after the dissolution.
The complaint says Rombom faces revocation or suspension of his license, a reprimand or a fine of up to $1,000. jodato@timesunion.com • 518-454-5083 • @JamesMOdato

In addition, the landlord's representative confirmed that although Mr. Rombom had paid well in advance for the use of a basement area in the building located at the registered address, he was never or rarely seen at the location, and no business was conducted at the location; some equipment was kept there, apparently in storage. Respondent failed to permit the Department's investigator access to the alleged business address, a failure to cooperate.
First off we learn that the space Rombom rents, but hardly ever visits, is located at 78 Webster Avenue #BCS in Brooklyn. It's basement storage space. This is not the same apartment the FBI visited only to find he was also hardly ever there because in the instance it was a room and they talked to his landlady. Where does Rombom really live? No one knows because he leads a double life, private eye and as we shall see - serial child molester.
Complaint reads: "Respondent Rombom and his Respondent Company alleged they had no employees, and none were found registered with the Department as associated with the Respondents, however, Respondents hired a private investigator named Theresa Balfe to assist him with confrontations with different individuals, engaging in activities in an obvious attempt to avoid registration of
employees, and also to advance his efforts at witness intimidation." This woman, who has the appearance of a diesel dyke, Theresa Balfe, sold out her community by taking a large sum of money from the NXIVM cult who are unpopular in the area. She has been seen driving around with Rombom and helping him intimidate witnesses who are testifying against this sick Jew-hating cult. Her role will be to testify that Rombom never did any of the crimes he is accused of as she has been bought off by the cult. Where can a turdbag backwoods PI come up with money like the Bronfman's can provide? Only if she sells out her neighbors which she did.
